I was majoring in art history until my university started offering a degree that combined art history and music history, which is what i'm doing now.

I like art history a lot, but i'm put off by how elitist and insular it can be, especially when you get into the museum environment.

In general, i think the idea of traditional museums as the institution of art is on its way out, at least for my generation.

i'm a lot more interested in what is being produced right now by people, especially online!
